If you have a gamer at home you know they can become totally engrossed in World Of Warcraft. If you find it difficult to understand what your kid, husband/wife, friend or co-worker is talking about then read further. You’ll discover 10 conversation starters that will give you a peek into their world and open the lines of communication.
1. Which Faction Do You Play?
There are two factions in WoW: Alliance and Horde. Alliance are primarily human and assumed to be “the good guys.” The Horde are non-human and animal like. Some would assume they are “the bad guys.” Blizzard Entertainment – the game makers – seem to love blurring the lines of good and evil. So asking your gamer which faction he plays and why is a great conversation starter.
2. What is the game storyline?
Not every player follows WoW lore. But if yours does he or she may have greater knowledge and emotional connection with the game. Presently there is a HUGE uproar from well read players about Garrosh Hellscream’s promotion to Horde leader. Asking about Garrosh might start one heck of a rant.

4. Tell me about the race/class of your main toon?

5. What level is your main toon?
Character levelling and the speed at which its attained is a great source of pride for many. If this is the case in your situation go one step further and ask about his exploits and great battles. What makes his or her character special?
6. Do you prefer PVE? PVP?
